Nurses are on the front lines of how patients interact with the healthcare system. Nurses play a primary role in determining the quality of patients’ experiences. Nurses lead in breaking down societal and organizational barriers to achieving health equity by understanding disparities in health status, analyzing data to improve care, and advocating for just allocation of resources.
Our mission is to advance nursing science and practice through generating knowledge and educating future leaders to address health for all, especially in meeting the needs of an ever more diverse, multicultural population.
