Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion presentation at 2022 incoming student orientation

On September 21, 2022, as part of our school’s incoming student orientation organized by Student Academic Services, the annual Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (AR/DEI) presentation and activity was conducted by Drs. Wendy Barrington, Rebecca O’Connor, and Butch de Castro. The purpose of this AR/DEI session is to convey our school’s commitment to AR/DEI, describe the various AR/DEI efforts and initiatives for faculty and staff to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, and to engage in discussion and reflection about acting during incidents of bias, microagression, and discrimination. Please view the AR/DEI presentation and activity presented to incoming students so you are aware of the content and messaging given to them, which will influence their expectations of our faculty and staff regarding AR/DEI.
